US youngest convicted murderer, jailed at 12, set to be freed at the age of 29

The youngest convicted murderer in the United States will walk free from prison for the first time since he was 12 years old in less than two weeks.

Curtis Fairchild Jones and his sister Catherine admitted to killing their father's girlfriend, Sonya Nicole Speights, in 1999, when they were just 12 and 13 years old respectively.

Christian Preacher jailed because he won't wed gay couple

A pastor at the Christian Proctor Church in Vermont, USA, has been sentenced to one year in federal prison after refusing to marry gay couples, according to NBC. This comes shortly after the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision ruling that states must allow gay-marriage.

The Christian Pastor, 56-year-old Paul Horner, had his lawyer speak to reporters on his behalf.

“We are currently disputing the guilty verdict and I am confident my client will be a free man here shortly,” said attorney Tom Downey. “Horner was just using his best judgement according to his rights and religious freedom in this country.”

Future makes fun of Ciara & Russell Wilson's celibacy commitment

In an interview with Huffpost Live, Singer Future kinda made fun of the fact that Ciara and her new Christian boyfriend Russell Wilson are in a celibate relationship. When asked by a fan if Ciara made him wait like she's making Russell wait, Future said;

5000 naked people to protest in Nairobi ahead of President Obama's visit

Members of the Republican Liberty Party have threatened to mobilize “approximately 5,000 totally naked men and women to protest over Obama’s ' open and aggressive' support for homosexuality”.

In a letter addressed to the Administration's Police Commandant, the party in conjunction with its 5,000 naked Kenyans, are set to throng the streets of Nairobi on the 22nd and 23rd of this month in protest of growing support for homosexuality. I have a question; why are some black people so plagued by inferiority complex when it comes to race? So singer Madonna posted the photo of her adopted kids giving her a foot rub online and some people I assume 'BLACK", think this image doe not show a simple affectionate relations between mother and children, but believe the photo has a 'racial under tone" to it. In case some of us still don't get the idea of whats going on, some of the commentators on her post, think shes playing the 'white slave mistress, with her black adopted kids', and that's sick to assume such if you ask me.

OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: Denise Zimba and Asanda Foji exit Generations

With regards to circulating media speculations over the fate of some "Generations: The Legacy" cast, official confirmation has been made that Denise Zimba and Asanda Foji will be exiting the show. Details below.

The SABC 1 soap confirmed through a statement on Tuesday afternoon that Zimba noted for playing vixen Mary Gumede on the show and newcomer Foji known for her portrayal of Simphiwe will bid farewell to the popular soapie.
However, contrary to earlier reports, Lebohang Mthunzi (Angela) and Ivy Nkutha (Gog’Flo) will be staying with the show.
The statement further states that Zimba asked to be released from her contract to pursue other interests.

A teenage girl was allegedly raped at the Emgodini taxi rank toilets in the Pietermaritzburg CBD. according to her reports at the police station where she went to luge her complain and open a case, her abusers raped her for dressing in a skimpy manner. Six Nigerian nationals were extradited from South Africa to Gulfport, Mississippi, to face a nine-count federal indictment in the Southern District of Mississippi alleging various Internet fraud schemes. A total of 20 defendants are charged in this case.

The Nigerians are; Oladimeji Seun Ayelotan, 30, Rasaq Aderoju Raheem, 31, Olusegun Seyi Shonekan, 33 Taofeeq Olamilekan Oyelade, 30 Olufemi Obaro Omoraka, 26 Anuoluwapo Segun Adegbemigun, 39, are charged along with 15 others in an Oct. 7, 2014, indictment with conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to commit identity theft, use of unauthorized account access devices, theft of U.S. government funds and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

According to Sunday World PSL champions Kaizer Chiefs are suing the controversial artist and businessman for ambush marketing.
Its been alleged that the DJ used their name and that of three of the club's senior players in promoting his drink.

According to Sunday World, this popular actor has passed on may his soul rest in peace.

Emzini Wezinsizwa was a popular vernacular comedy which aired on SABC1. It was a show about the inhabitants of Room 8 in an all male hostel who often found themselves in hilarious predicaments.
Mlangeni was known for his character Sibeko, the hostel “drunk.” His character often spied on the inhabitants of Room 8 for the security guards.
Mlangeni passed away at Bheki Mlangeni Hospital in Jabulani, Soweto. He had been battling Diabetes, according to a Daily Sun report.
Mlangeni is survived by his wife and five children, two boys and three girls.
Mlangeni was 48 years old.
The report further mentions that his memorial service will be held at Dobsonville Community Hall on Saturday.
Mlangeni’s death comes after news of the death of legendary Soul Brother’s singer David Masondo last week.
Masondo, 67, died at Johannesburg’s Garden City Hospital – where he had been admitted after complaining of exhaustion

Anthony Anderson has been confermed to be the MAMA Awards host for this year, holding this month in Durban. Details from Zalebs, revield that the comedian would be joining the likes of some of the biggest names in music, including Neyo, Jhene Aiko, and Wizkid, who will be performing at the event this weekend.

Here is a story coiled from the LIB Blog about a teen who made a mistake he wouldn't be forgetting any time soon, in efforts to avoid extra luggage costs. Quite innovative if you ask me lol just not well through through... Over to LINDA IKEJI'S BLOG

I don't know how he came up with the idea but I doubt he will try it again after his experience. James McElvar, 19 (pictured above) an upcoming singer with a Scottish group called Rewind, collapsed from heat exhaustion on a plane because he was wearing all his clothes - all 12 layers of them comprising of 6 t-shirts, 4 jumpers, 3 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of jogging bottoms, a pair of jackets and two hats to avoid paying excess luggage fee. The airline told him he was carrying too many luggages and he would have to pay £50 for excess baggage. To avoid paying the money, he wore his clothes.

He was on his way from London to Glasgow when his body temperature sky-rocketed, causing him to have a fit and pass out at 37,000 feet. He was attended to by an off-duty paramedic, before being rushed to hospital on arrival at the airport.

He is doing well now...and today he recreated how he looked on the day he collapsed. (above)
