\A teenage girl was allegedly raped at the Emgodini taxi rank toilets in the Pietermaritzburg CBD. according to her reports at the police station where she went to luge her complain and open a case, her abusers raped her for dressing in a skimpy manner. It is an unacceptable thing for any one to be raped. its a total violation of human mental and physical serenity if you ask me. but I want to know why do under-aged girls dress in outfits very suggestive and parents or older siblings don't seem to mind correcting their actions?
I was somewhere with a friend couple days back and we saw this kid probably 13 or 15 dressed with a very skimpy skirt walking right behind a man who seemed to be her father it was such an appalling sight to me because kids as such are open targets for pedophiles. A little more work need to be done on family and societal sensitization with regards thickets perhaps? Anyway details of the rape incident after the cut...
The 17-year-old female has opened a case with Pietermaritzburg police. The teenager was approached by four men as she made her way out of the rank toilets.
The men then allegedly made suggestive comments to her and she responded in a negative manner. The teen told the police that the men then told her that she was “too full of herself”, and insulted her, saying “she was wearing a short dress because she wanted to show them her body”. PowerFM reported.
One of the men then allegedly grabbed the teen and pulled her into the toilet followed closely by the other three.
The teen was then allegedly raped and her phone was stolen as well.
