Anthony Anderson is this year's MTV MAMA host

Anthony Anderson has been confermed to be the MAMA Awards host for this year, holding this month in Durban. Details from Zalebs, revield that the comedian would be joining the likes of some of the biggest names in music, including Neyo, Jhene Aiko, and Wizkid, who will be performing at the event this weekend. 

The American comedian and actor has been announced as the host of the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards, taking place in Durban on Saturday, 18 July. We must say we didn't see this one coming. We think he's a great choice, way better than last year's host, Marlon Wayans, who failed to please the audience. More after the cut...

Anthony, who co-hosted this year's BET Awards, is also making waves with his hit comedy show, Black-ish. He is joining a list of some of the biggest names in music, including Neyo, Jhene Aiko, and Wizkid, who will be performing at the event this weekend.
